Overview
Register where the agency posts
Public agencies choose where they advertise bids and how they take responses. A contractor usually needs its own vendor account on each system its target agencies use: SAM.gov for federal work, the state's eProcurement portal for state agencies, and whichever bid platform a city, county, school district or utility has picked.
Each guide below walks through one portal's registration, how to find its solicitations and how to submit a response, using the portal's own published instructions. Portals change their steps, so confirm details on the official site before you rely on them.
