NYSDOT bid tabs
Updated Jun 25, 2026 (newest letting in this data)
A bid tab (bid tabulation) is the record New York State Department of Transportation publishes after a letting: every bid received on each contract, ranked from low to high, usually next to the engineer's estimate.
Contractors use NYSDOT bid tabs to see how many firms bid each kind of work, how close the low bid came to the estimate, and where their own pricing sat. This page summarizes the tabs in our data by year; bidder names are not shown.
